Succession and The Bear big winners at 2024 Emmy Awards

Following a four-month delay, we finally had the ceremony of the Emmy Awards that happened on Monday January 15. While the winners of the biggest awards ceremony in television were meant to be announced way back in September, due to the Hollywood writers and actors strikes, the Emmys were pushed back from their original slot to January. The big winners of the night were Succession on the drama side and The Bear on the comedy side. Both series won six Emmys. The other big winner of the night was Beef which won five Emmys.

Hosted by Anthony Anderson, the 75th Emmy Awards provided multiple tributes to hit shows of the past as well as the present. The casts of series like Cheers, The Sopranos, Ally McBeal, Martin and more reunited for the night, while former cast members of shows like Grey’s Anatomy and the ever-Emmy-ignored comedy It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia took the stage to present awards.
