  • The Gentlemen: an upcoming series created by Guy Ritchie, which is a spin-off of Ritchie’s 2019 film of the same name. The series stars Theo James in the lead role as Eddie Halstead. He has inherited a large estate from his father, but he learns that the land has become part of Mickey Pearson’s marijuana-growing empire. Also starring in the series are Kaya Scodelario, Daniel Ings, Joely Richardson, Giancarlo Esposito, Peter Serafinowicz, Vinnie Jones, Chanel Cresswell and Max Beesley. The series is releasing this March on Netflix.
  • Spaceman: a new science fiction drama film directed by Johan Renck and written by Colby Day, based on the 2017 novel Spaceman of Bohemia by Jaroslav Kalfař. The film stars Adam Sandler, Paul Dano, Carey Mulligan, Kunal Nayyar, and Isabella Rossellini. It tells the story of an astronaut sent on a mission to the edge of the solar system who encounters a creature that helps him put his earthly problems back together. Spaceman will have its world premiere at the 74th Berlin International Film Festival in February 2024 and is releasing on Netflix on March 1.
  • Upgraded: a new romantic comedy film directed by Carlson Young and starring Camila Mendes, Archie Renaux, Lena Olin and Marisa Tomei. It follows Ana, an aspiring art intern who is invited on a last-minute work trip to London by her super boss, meeting the handsome and wealthy William on the plane. The film is releasing on Amazon Prime Video on February 9.
  • The New Look: a new biographical drama series created by Todd A. Kessler and starring Ben Mendelsohn as Christian Dior and Juliette Binoche as Coco Chanel. The series depicts Christian Dior in Paris after World War II when he created his fashion line that unofficially got named New Look. The series is premiering on Apple TV+ on February 14 with the first three episodes and the rest of the episodes releasing weekly. A second season is already in development.
  • Suncoast: a new coming-of-age drama film written and directed by Laura Chinn in her feature directorial debut and starring Laura Linney, Nico Parker and Woody Harrelson. Chinn’s screenplay was included in the 2020 Black List and it is also based on Chinn’s life experience from the early 2000s. The film is premiering at the Sundance Film Festival this weekend, on January 21, followed by a streaming release in the United States on Hulu and in other countries on Disney+ on February 9.
