This 16th edition of Filmfestival Oostende is officially over. As I’m writing this it’s February 4, a day after Filmfestival Oostende ended. And it did with the awardshow for the Ensors. But before I give you the winners of the Ensors, we look back at day 8 where we had the last star that was unveiled for Dutch actor Frank Lammers. He had the honor to get the last star of this edition of FFO and was very happy to get it. In total there are 123 stars now on the Walk of Fame and more are coming the next few years.
In the evening it was time for the Jamies, the online awards. The big winner of the night was Average Rob, who won the epic Jamie for the best video of the year which he made with his brother Arno the Kid and friends Milan Cools. Before the Ensors happened in the evening, I went to see two more films: Polite Society and Race for Glory. Polite Society was a fun film to watch. It was worth it to wake up a bit earlier to go watch it in the morning. Race for Glory, which is a co-production between France and Italy, was nice, but one of the less good films I saw during the Festival. But it was two nice films to see to end the festival. It was another amazing edition and I already look forward to the next one next year.
