  • Horizon: An American Saga: an upcoming two-part American epic Western film co-written, produced, directed by and starring Kevin Costner. The film co-stars an extensive cast consisting of Sienna Miller, Sam Worthington, Giovanni Ribisi, Jena Malone, Abbey Lee, Michael Rooker, Danny Huston, Luke Wilson, Isabelle Fuhrman, Jeff Fahey, Will Patton, Tatanka Means, Owen Crow Shoe, Ella Hunt, and Jamie Campbell Bower. Set in the American Civil War period, the film depicts the expansion of the American west. Described as a two-part event, Chapter 1 is releasing in theatres on June 28, and Chapter 2 is releasing on August 16.
  • The Watchers: an upcoming supernatural horror film written and directed by Ishana Night Shyamalan, the daughter of director M. Night Shyamalan, making her feature directorial debut. It’s based on the novel of the same name by A. M. Shine and stars Dakota Fanning, Georgina Campbell, Oliver Finnegan, and Olwen Fouéré. We follow 28-year-old artist Mina who gets stranded in an expansive, untouched forest in western Ireland. Upon finding shelter, she unknowingly becomes trapped alongside three strangers who are watched and stalked by mysterious creatures each night. The film is releasing in theatres on June 7.
  • I Saw the TV Glow: a new horror film written and directed by Jane Schoenbrun. It stars Justice Smith and Brigette Lundy-Paine in the lead roles with Helena Howard, Fred Durst, Danielle Deadwyler, Lindsey Jordan, Amber Benson, Conner O’Malley in supporting roles. Phoebe Bridgers, Haley Dahl, and Kristina Esfandiari also star in the film as themselves. Emma Stone and Dave McCary serve as producers under their Fruit Tree banner. The film follows Owen and Maddy, two teenagers who bond over their love of a television series. After it is mysteriously canceled, their reality begins to blur. I Saw the TV Glow premiered in the Midnight section at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year and was also shown at the Berlin International Film Festival. It will also screen at South by Southwest this March before releasing in theatres on May 3.
  • The Beautiful Game: an upcoming British sports drama film directed by Thea Sharrock and written by Frank Cottrell-Boyce. The film stars Bill Nighy and Micheal Ward in the lead roles alongside Valeria Golino, Callum Scott Howells, Kit Young, and Susan Wokoma. It follows the squad of English homeless footballers, including the talented but troubled striker Vinny, who are led by their coach Mal, to compete in Rome at the global annual football tournament, the Homeless World Cup. The film is releasing on Netflix on March 29.
  • The Bikeriders: the new drama film written and directed by Jeff Nichols. It tells a fictional story inspired by the 1967 photo-book of the same name by Danny Lyon depicting the lives of the Outlaws MC, a Chicago-based motorcycle club. The film features an ensemble cast that includes Jodie Comer, Austin Butler, Michael Shannon, Mike Faist, Norman Reedus, and Tom Hardy. Set in the 1960s, it follows the rise of a fictional Chicago motorcycle club. Seen through the lives of its members, the club evolves over the course of a decade from a gathering place for local outsiders into a more sinister gang, threatening the original group’s unique way of life. The Bikeriders premiered at the Telluride Film Festival last year and is releasing in theatres on June 21.
  • Música: a new romantic comedy film directed by Rudy Mancuso, who wrote it with Dan Lagana. Rudy Mancuso also stars in the film alongside Camila Mendes, Francesca Reale and J.B. Smoove. It follows a young man, plagued by the music in his head, who has to come to terms with an uncertain future while balancing love, family and Brazilian culture in Newark, New Jersey. Música will have its world premiere at South by Southwest this March and is releasing on Prime Video on April 4.
