  • MaXXXine: the upcoming slasher film written and directed by Ti West. It is the final installment of the X trilogy, following X and Pearl. The film stars Mia Goth, who reprises her role as Maxine (and also serves as producer), alongside Elizabeth Debicki, Moses Sumney, Michelle Monaghan, Bobby Cannavale, Lily Collins, Halsey, Giancarlo Esposito, and Kevin Bacon. In the film we follow Maxine who, after surviving a massacre, moves to Los Angeles in the early 1980s to pursue her dreams of becoming a famous actress, but is soon stalked by a killer in Hollywood. MaXXXine is releasing in theatres on July 5.
  • Fly Me To The Moon: an upcoming romantic comedy film directed by Greg Berlanti and written by Rose Gilroy. The film stars Scarlett Johansson, Channing Tatum, Jim Rash, Ray Romano, and Woody Harrelson. It takes place against the backdrop of the Space Race in the 1960s between the United States and the Soviet Union. Fly Me to the Moon is releasing in theatres on July 12.
  • Joker: Folie à Deux: the upcoming psychological thriller film directed by Todd Phillips from a screenplay co-written with Scott Silver. It is the sequel to the 2019 film Joker and is loosely based on DC Comics characters. Joaquin Phoenix reprises his role as the Joker and Lady Gaga plays his love interest Harley Quinn. Zazie Beetz also reprises her role from the first film, while Brendan Gleeson and Catherine Keener also star. The film is releasing in theatres on October 4.
  • The Tattooist of Auschwitz: a new historical drama series directed by Tali Shalom Ezer and based on the book of the same name by Heather Morris. The cast includes Harvey Keitel, Melanie Lynskey, Jonah Hauer-King and Anna Próchniak. The series is inspired by the real-life story of Lale and Gita Sokolov, who met while being prisoners in the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp during the Holocaust. We follow Lale, who was given the job of tattooing identification numbers on fellow prisoners’ arms, telling his story to Heather Morris. The series is releasing on May 2 on Peacock in the US, on Sky Atlantic in Italy and UK and on Stan in Australia.
  • Bridgerton season 3: the third season of the historical romance series created by Chris Van Dusen. It’s based on the book series by Julia Quinn and revolves around an eponymous fictional family and is set in the competitive world of Regency era London’s ton during the social season in the early 1800s, where young marriageable nobility and gentry are introduced into society. After having Daphne (Phoebe Dynevor) in the first season and Anthony (Jonathan Bailey) in the second season, in this new season we follow Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) who searches for a husband. We also still follow the Bridgerton family, including Anthony and his wife Kate (Simone Ashley), Colin (Luke Newton), Eloise (Claudia Jessie) and Violet (Ruth Gemmell). This third season is split in two parts with the first part releasing on Netflix on May 16 and the second part releasing on June 13.
  • Speak No Evil: an upcoming psychological horror-thriller film written and directed by James Watkins. It is a remake of the 2022 Danish film of the same name. The film stars James McAvoy, Mackenzie Davis, Aisling Franciosi, Alix West Lefler, Dan Hough, and Scoot McNairy. Jason Blum serves as a producer through his Blumhouse Productions banner. It follows a family invited to spend a weekend in an idyllic country house, which goes from a dream vacation to a psychological nightmare. Speak No Evil is releasing in theatres on September 13.
  • Dark Matter: an upcoming science fiction series created by Blake Crouch, based on his 2016 novel of the same name. It stars Joel Edgerton in the lead role as Jason Dessen, a physicist in Chicago who is warped into an alternate version of his life, leaving him to fight to return to his life to prevent the alternate version of himself from harming his family. Also starring in the series are Jennifer Connelly, Alice Braga, Jimmi Simpson, Oakes Fegley, Dayo Okeniyi and Amanda Brugel. The series is premiering on Apple TV+ on May 8 with two episodes and the rest of the episodes releasing weekly.
  • Young Woman and the Sea: an upcoming biographical drama film directed by Joachim Rønning and written by Jeff Nathanson. It’s based on the 2009 book of the same name by Glenn Stout and stars Daisy Ridley as Gertrude Ederle, an American competitive swimmer who became the first woman to swim across the English Channel. It also stars Tilda Cobham-Hervey, Stephen Graham, Kim Bodnia, Christopher Eccleston, and Glenn Fleshler. The film will receive a limited theatrical release on May 31 and will release on Disney+ later.
