- The Boys season 4: the fourth season of the satirical superhero series developed by Eric Kripke and based on the comic book of the same name by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson. It follows the eponymous team of vigilantes as they combat superpowered individuals who abuse their powers. The series features an ensemble cast that includes Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Dominique McElligott, Jessie T. Usher, Chace Crawford, Laz Alonso, Tomer Capone, Karen Fukuhara, and Nathan Mitchell. We will follow Billy Butcher, and his Boys, as they try to stop Homelander and the other supes. This fourth season takes place after the spin-off series Gen V and is premiering on Prime Video on June 13 with the first three episodes and the rest releasing weekly.
- The Acolyte: the upcoming science fiction series created by Leslye Headland which is part of the Star Wars franchise. It is set at the end of the High Republic era before the events of the main Star Wars films, approximately 100 years before Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace (1999). It follows a Jedi Master investigating a series of crimes that bring him into conflict with a former Padawan learner and reveal sinister forces. Amandla Stenberg, Lee Jung-jae, Manny Jacinto, Dafne Keen, Charlie Barnett, Jodie Turner-Smith, Rebecca Henderson, Dean-Charles Chapman, Joonas Suotamo, and Carrie-Anne Moss star in the series. The Acolyte is premiering on Disney+ on June 4 with its first two episodes. The other six episodes will be released weekly.
- Boneyard: an upcoming crime thriller film directed by Asif Akbar and produced by Colin Bates and Vincent E. McDaniel. It is based on the West Mesa murders and stars Mel Gibson, Curtis Jackson, Brian Van Holt, Nora Zehetner, Gabrielle Haugh. It follows an FBI agent (Gibson) and the Chief of Police in Albuquerque (Jackson) who are on the hunt for a serial killer known as The Bone Collector, but the chief fears that the killer is actually one of his own officers. The film is releasing in select theaters in the United States on June 5 and on video on demand on July 2.
- Despicable Me 4: the upcoming animated comedy film produced by Illumination which serves as the sequel to Despicable Me 3 (2017), the fourth main installment, and the sixth installment overall in the Despicable Me franchise. The film is being directed by Chris Renaud, co-directed by Patrick Delage (in his feature directorial debut), produced by Chris Meledandri and Brett Hoffman, and written by Mike White and Ken Daurio. It stars the voices of Steve Carell, Kristen Wiig, Miranda Cosgrove, Dana Gaier, Madison Polan, Will Ferrell, Sofia Vergara, Joey King, Stephen Colbert, Chloe Fineman, Pierre Coffin, and Steve Coogan. In this fourth film Gru, the world’s favorite supervillain-turned-Anti-Villain League-agent, returns for an exciting, bold new era of Minions mayhem, alongside his wife and fellow Anti-Villain League-agent Lucy, their three adopted girls and the newest member to the Gru family, Gru Jr., who is intent on tormenting his dad. The family is forced to go on the run when they become targeted by escaped criminal Maxime Le Mal and his femme fatale girlfriend Valentina. The film is releasing in theatres on July 3.
- Treasure: a new tragicomedy film directed by Julia von Heinz and based on the 1999 novel Too Many Men by Lily Brett. The film stars Lena Dunham, Stephen Fry and Zbigniew Zamachowski. Set in 1990, it tells the story of an American journalist Ruth who travels to Poland with her father Edek to visit his childhood places. But Edek, a Holocaust survivor, resists reliving his trauma and sabotages the trip creating unintentionally funny situations. It was selected in the Berlinale Special Gala section at the 74th Berlin International Film Festival and was screened on 17 February 2024. The film is releasing in theatres in the United States on June 14.
- Twisters: the upcoming disaster film directed by Lee Isaac Chung from a screenplay by Mark L. Smith. It is a standalone sequel to the 1996 film Twister and is centered on a pair of storm chasers who risk their lives in an attempt to test an experimental weather alert system. The film stars Daisy Edgar-Jones, Glen Powell, Anthony Ramos, Maura Tierney, Brandon Perea, Daryl McCormack, Sasha Lane, Kiernan Shipka, and Nik Dodani. The film is releasing in theatres on July 19.
- Fancy Dance: a new drama film directed by Erica Tremblay in her feature narrative directorial debut, from a screenplay by Tremblay and Miciana Alise. It stars Lily Gladstone, Isabel DeRoy-Olson and Shea Whigham. It follows Jax who, since her sister’s disappearance, has cared for her niece Roki on the Seneca–Cayuga Nation Reservation. Every spare minute goes into finding her missing sister while also helping Roki prepare for an upcoming powwow. At the risk of losing custody to Jax’s father, Frank, the pair hit the road to track down Roki’s mother in time for the powwow. Fancy Dance premiered at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival and is releasing in a limited release on June 21, prior to streaming on Apple TV+ on June 28.
- A Quiet Place: Day One: the upcoming post-apocalyptic horror film written and directed by Michael Sarnoski, based on an original story by John Krasinski and Sarnoski. It is intended to be a spin-off prequel and the third overall installment of the A Quiet Place film series. The film stars Lupita Nyong’o, Joseph Quinn, Alex Wolff, Djimon Hounsou, and Denis O’Hare. As the title suggests, it goes back to day one of the alien invasion, which Krasinski explored briefly in the opening flashback sequence of A Quiet Place: Part II. It follows Sam, a woman who’s on a day trip to New York City when the monsters arrive. As everything quickly goes to hell, she’s thrown together with a man named Eric. With some reluctance, the pair agree to navigate and survive the city together. The film is releasing in theatres on June 28.
- Orphan Black: Echoes: the new science fiction thriller series created by Anna Fishko based on Orphan Black created by John Fawcett and Graeme Manson. The series stars Krysten Ritter in the lead role and is set in 2052 in the same universe as Orphan Black. Thirty-seven years since the end of the original series, Echoes follows the life of the now adult Kira and her wife, as they try to help an amnesiac girl, named Lucy (Ritter). Dr. Kira Manning is a scientist and the daughter of Sarah Manning, the protagonist from the original Orphan Black series. She was previously portrayed by Skyler Wexler in the original series and is now played by Keeley Hawes in this series. Also starring in the series are Amanda Fix, Avan Jogia, James Hiroyuki Liao, and Rya Kihlstedt. Jordan Gavaris and Evelyne Brochu are also reprising their roles as Felix Dawkins and Dr. Delphine Cormier from the original Orphan Black series as guest stars. All 10 episodes of season one premiered on November 3, 2023, in Australia on Stan and is premiering on June 23 on AMC, AMC+ and BBC America.
