The first day of February started at the Filmfestival of Ostend with the unveiling of the star for Italian actress Paola Cortellesi who was at the festival to present her new film C’è ancora domani, a film she not only stars in but also directed. The film won three awards at the Filmfestival of Rome and now she was in Ostend to show her film. Director Xavier Legrand also came to present his film Le successeur and Stefanie Kolk for Melk. The drag queens of House of Lux were also there for the Queer night that happened in De Grote Post for the first time.
The new series Styx, which is filmed in Ostend, also premiered at the Festival that evening with the cast and crew present. We had Jeroen Dumoulein, Michel Sabbe, Sebastien Dewaele, Koen De Bouw, Anemone Valcke, Aimé Claeys, Jul Goossens, Dahlia Pessemiers Benamar, Lilith Pas, Loes Haverkort, Werner Kolf, Elena Missiaen, Serge Henri Valcke, Imani Decaestecker, Mustaf Ahmeti, Wennie De Ruyck, Anna Marie Missoul, Yassine Ouaich, Bavo Dhooghe, Gunter Schmid and Peter Bouckaert that were here to show the first two episodes of the series. And Jerome the dog, we stars in the series, was there as well. I saw those two episodes and I look forward to see the rest. The first two episodes that were shown at the festival are now on Streamz with a new episode releasing weekly.
